Being a Guest at the House
About Being a Guest
Guests will share the two bathrooms in the house, as well as the kitchen. Guests are vetted by me, and I screen guests to make sure that they are responsible and respectful.
I ask guests to clean up after themselves in the common areas; and I hire a professional cleaner to clean the common spaces once a month.
I supply common goods, such as linens, towels, kitchenware, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. All you need to bring is your own toiletries and clothes. This is a plug and play setup for light travelers.
About the House
The house is a beautiful and uniquely designed 1906 farmhouse. The living room, dining room, and bedrooms are spacious, colorful and bright. The house has wood floors, high ceilings throughout, and a big kitchen with a walk-in pantry. The house is well insulated and was professionally weatherized in 2011-there is forced air for heating and cooling.
